A French-Inspired Garden Affair: Christine and Charles Married!
Happy Wedding Wednesday, Lovebirds!Today, we are thrilled to share another gorgeous celebration of love! Christine and Charles’ big day was dreamy and romantic. We feel so honored to have had this wedding featured on both Style Me Pretty and Ruffled! Working with this couple to bring their French-inspired garden wedding to life was our pleasure, and the result was one beautiful celebration!Christine and Charles wed at Catalina View Gardens in Palos Verdes, CA. With a breathtaking coastal bluff view of Catalina Island, this vineyard venue offered a serene setting to exchange vows. Our color story included varying sage greens, champagne, creamy whites, and blush-tones, accented by subtle medium blue and metallic touches. Bridesmaids wore various champagne-colored dresses with simple draping and beading. The groomsmen stuck to a classic black tuxedo, contributing to the overall look of polished elegance. The florals were pure perfection! The mix of blush, ivory, and dusty rose blooms combined for a soft, organic look. The spectacular arbor framing the ceremony site was intricately crafted with greenery and lush cream and blush peonies, gardenias, dahlias, and garden roses. These florals were mirrored in the personal bouquets of the bridal party. The blooms complemented Christine’s appliqué gown, which incorporated delicate florals. The aisle was lined with flowy ground arrangements, creating an element of movement.Guests arrived to a welcome table placed in front of the vineyards. Here, the couple gave out mini bottles of champagne for friends and family to enjoy. You can’t go wrong with some bubbly! The mirror-art welcome sign, acrylic card box, and mixed metallic picture frames further enhanced the feel of elegance. The couple included their beloved 10 year old pup, Nori, in the ceremony. His unexpected appearance created a fun surprise for all guests! For cocktail hour, Made by Meg set up an epic charcuterie board. Overlooking the vineyard backdrop, we couldn’t imagine a treat more perfect - or delicious! It incorporated another element of French-inspiration into the day. The wooden boxes and boards were stacked in an asymmetrical fashion and topped with eucalyptus garland. We brought in ivory and gold-detailed arm chairs, couches, and a coffee table to create a relaxing lounge area. Next to this, we used a large mirror to direct guests to their proper dinner table. At both installments, we incorporated greenery, candles, and a few delicate florals - did we say easy elegance?!For the reception, we utilized a mix of round and long rectangular tables. For the round tables, we used blush linens, along with mixed floral arrangements. In contrast, we left the wood exposed on the rectangular tables and draped eucalyptus garland with scattered florals down the length of the table. The tables were covered with candles galore, and hanging string lights created a glowing atmosphere. Each table setting was clean and simple. The clear glassware and ivory draped napkin were accented by the metallic touches of the gold-rimmed charger and gold flatware. The contrasting tablescapes were tied together by simple oak chairs with ivory cushions. At the front of the reception space, we set up a sweethearts’ table for Christine and Charles. This intimate table-for-two was covered in blooms and a flowing light blue table runner, which matched the light blue-padded armchairs. Candles placed on the ground in front of the table added to the warm, glowing mood of romance. As the sun set, Christine and Charles, along with their friends and family, danced the night away. Desserts included a simple white cake, small fruit tarts, layered mousse cups, as well as macaroons arranged in the cutest towers. Guest also savored donuts, freshly fried on-site!Christine and Charles’ big day was a dream from start to finish. From the ceremony florals, to the mirror art, to the breathtaking tablescapes, each element was purposeful in creating a romantic and elegant French garden party. We feel so lucky to have been a part of the start of their journey, and appreciate how sweet and thoughtful they were throughout the process! We send you all our love, and wish you the best!Vendor Love:
