Happy Wedding Wednesday, Lovebirds!Today, we are excited to share with you another stunning celebration of love! Sarah and Alex’s wedding encapsulated a warm, intimate feeling, and was perfected with personalized finishing touches. It was a pleasure to work with them to bring their vision come to life, and we were all pleased with how it turned out! An Intimate Evening by the Sea | Marisa Nicole Events Sarah and Alex’s fête took place at La Venta Inn, an exclusive estate located in the hills of Palos Verdes. The natural, lush greenery of the venue paired flawlessly with our color focus of burgundy, mauve, whites, and mixed metallics. The burgundy bridesmaids’ dresses radiated elegance next to the charcoal grey groom and groomsmen suits. Sarah’s dress paralleled this theme with timeless lace and tasteful beading. La Venta Inn looks out over the Pacific Ocean and Los Angeles skyline. This breathtaking backdrop set the stage for a memorable ceremony. To frame our beautiful couple, The Little Branch brought in a chuppah, which we embellished with white and mauve flowers and greenery. At the foot of the chuppah, we placed feathery white plants to further create the feeling of organic, easy elegance. One thing that is special to the couple is a shared love of music. Sarah and Alex met at a concert and have always enjoyed attending music events together. We decided to incorporate this passion throughout the reception. Instead of a traditional guestbook, we used vintage records to “record” the day.

We utilized luxe oatmeal-colored linens, paired with clean silver flatware and clear glassware. Keeping with the color story, we incorporated burgundy napkins, burgundy menu detailing, and greenery in the centerpieces. These touches combined seamlessly with the dark wooden chiavari chairs. To warm up the space, we used candle lighting on the tables and up- lights throughout the dining room, creating a glowing, intimate space. One of the couple’s specialty cocktails included Crown Royal Canadian whiskey and Canada Dry ginger ale. And, to end the night, we served poutine, a traditional Canadian dish, as a late-night snack.
