Love and A Southern Charm: Macey & Chad Married!

Happy Wedding Wednesday lovebirds! Today, we’re super excited to share with you one of our most recent and favorite weddings of 2018. It was such a pleasure to work with Macey and Chad to create an intimate, elegant and Southern-charm inspired wedding and we’re so pleased with how the whole celebration turned out. So without further ado, please enjoy these lovebirds’ stunning soirée!Macey and Chad’s lovely wedding took place at Retreat Malibu. The venue is a private estate located at the top of Santa Monica mountains, making it the perfect location for a beautiful celebration like this. For the couple, they really wanted their fête to be elegant and sophisticated so we went with the classic blue and white pairing as their color focus. To stick to this classic color story, we also surrounded their ceremony with beautiful lush white roses with pops of baby blue florals.And let’s not forget about how the couple included their adorable fur-baby, Poptart, as their flower girl which melted all our hearts! For their reception, we hung up chandeliers and bistro lights to warm up the space. At each table setting, we incorporated these beautiful Southern-charm blue and white chinas which we’re absolutely obsessed with. To complete the look, we used the same white and blue florals and it turned out delightfully elegant. We set up a super intimate-looking lounge area and brought out blankets for all the guests to enjoy. And we saved the best for last… The couple had two stunning cakes. The main wedding cake echoed the lace design on Macey’s dress and the groom’s cake (a very southern tradition) that featured their beloved Poptart!This is it for now lovebirds!
